APC Screening Committee Clears Senator Heineken Lokpobiri And Others .

The report of the gubernatorial primary election screening committee for Bayelsa state , which was held at the party Secretariat  in Yenagoa on 24th of August 2019 , came out with one aspirant disqualified .

According to the report , seven APC aspirants took part in the screening exercise while Dr Briyai Oyeins Frankland was not cleared and therefore  disqualified to participate in the primary election slated for August , 29 , 2019 .

Others APC aspirants who were cleared and qualified to participate in the primary election are : Senator Heineken Lokpobiri  , Mr Aganaba Preye  Steven , Mrs Diseye Nsirim Poweigha , Mr Lyon David Pereworimini , Engr . Professor ( Mrs) Ongoebi Maureen O. Etebu , Prince Ebitimi Christopher Amgbare .

The screening committee had Rt. Hon.Is a Song as the chairman , Barr.Clement Chinaka as Secretary with the following people as members .

Hon. Jock Alamba , Hon. Bolaji Repete , Abubakar Umar Jerengor , Barr. Adoh Oguta and Hon. Muhammed Ibrahim Sani .

Senator Heineken Lokpobiri , who is a former minister has always been the man of the people with many achievements to his record . His desire to turn the state  to paradise will manifest if only the ticket of the party is given to him . He is a man who has been involving in the politics of Bayelsa State since the  creation of the State .

Currently , the aspirants are in serious political business , canvassing and wooing  members of the party  to their side  . It is said that in every competition , there must be winner .
